Events Facilitator (Part-time Seasonal, afternoons and evenings)
Taliesin West (Scottsdale AZ)
Attends and facilitates events from set-up to close, predominately during evening and weekend functions. Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends is a must; typical schedule is 2 p.m. to 12 a.m. during the months of October through May. Responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the organization to achieve the Foundation’s mission, vision, strategy, annual fundraising goals and multi-year objectives. The CEO is focused on the long-term sustainability of the Foundation, accomplished through robust fundraising and day-to-day operations. This involves management of a senior staff of six, supervising an overall staff of 100, and a $12 million annual operating budget. Responsible for the interpretation, preservation, maintenance, and sustainability of the museum. Manages part-time staff in support of museum operations and the Museum Director. Manages the volunteers to ensure support for all museum activities. Works closely with the Museum Director to support the President and Board of Directors to develop and conduct museum activities in support of the organizational strategic plan. Supervises the operations of the ARO, including the administration & implementation of the Arizona Antiquities Act (AAA; A.R.S. ยง 41-841 et seq.), compliance with all policies & procedures outlined by state & federal laws & Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) rules, & management of both paper & digital versions of archaeological project submission materials submitted to the ARO.
