Museum Collections Specialist
Arizona Museum of Natural History  (Mesa AZ)

Responsible for handling, preparing, installing, transporting, and storing specimens according to accepted museum principles; recording information concerning specimens and inventory; maintaining files; photographing and digitizing the collections; monitoring expenses, maintaining collection storage areas; performing minor conservation of specimens. Salary range: $45,044.69 - $62,942.88. Director of Development
Tucson Museum of Art And Historic Block (Tucson AZ)

Serves as a department head and member of the Museum’s leadership team with primary responsibility for the museum’s fundraising and membership goals. Additional responsibilities include the planning and implementation of a multi-pronged development program, cultivation and solicitation of major funders, execution of the annual fund campaign, management of the museum’s Leadership Circle membership group, organization and execution of the annual TMA Gala, and oversight of grant submissions and reporting.   Salary: $70,000 - $85,000. Provide comprehensive leadership, vision, institutional planning and execution for the Garden’s daily operations, maintenance, safety and security, ensuring a seamless visitor and staff experience. This includes physical infrastructure and internal operations in accordance with visitor and staff needs and government regulation. Oversee the operations of the Museum, the Museum Gift Store, and the Applewhite Pavilion. Chief Science Officer International Program Coordinator

Provides support to the CSO International Program Manager to deliver programming for all CSO International Partnerships. Performs support and administrative tasks; works with regional representatives and the Alumni Association, CSOs and CSO alumni to foster CSO International program growth; works and travels with Regional Leads and Cabinet Coordinators to assist with, plan, and participate in training and Leadership Training Institutes for new cabinets. Exhibits Preparator
Sharlot Hall Museum (Prescott AZ)

Responsible for exhibit design, build, and installation, including fabrication of exhibit furniture, cases, mounts, and hanging of flat art/objects. Also works closely with the Registrar/Collections Manager to maintain and properly care for collections in storage and on exhibit, including building object mounts and assisting as needed with collections management tasks. The Preparator operates and maintains the museum exhibit workshop, in conjunction with Facilities staff.  Salary: $20.00 -$22.00/Hour. Tempe History Museum (Tempe AZ)

Support the Museum programming and education team in providing   museum tours, educational programs, visitor services including rental activities, and public programs at historic house locations, at the museum, and at off-site locations. 15-19 hours per week, contingent upon assignments; flexible weekday scheduling; evenings and weekends as needed for events. Salary: $18.55/hour. NAGPRA Inventory Specialist
School of Human Evolution and Social Change at Arizona State University (Tempe AZ)

Under the guidance of the Postdoctoral Research Scholar and NAGPRA Project Leads assist with tasks associated with curation and Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) compliance for Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) collections.  Duties include assisting with supervising student interns and workers, updating collections information and inventories, assessing and enhancing collections housing, and documenting cultural items. Collections Residential Intern-Summer  
Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation/Taliesin West (Scottsdale AZ)

Interns will be exposed to a variety of archive, library, and museum collections and potential projects will include object research, cataloging, condition reporting, inventorying, writing finding aids and developing research guides. This position is approximately 8 weeks in duration (estimated to be mid-June through mid-August 2024) and includes both onsite housing on the Taliesin West campus and a stipend of $14.35/hour for up to 30 hours of work weekly.  [0313]
