of Arizona

Between October 2024 and January 2025, the Museum Association of Arizona distributed a Salary Survey to its members to assess the state of staffing titles and salary ranges for museums in Arizona. Responses were received from 65 unique organizations, approximately 20% of the total number of museums across the state.   

Our goal was to find out about the many different types of museum workers in Arizona to provide data that will be of help to museum professionals and institutions throughout their application, interviewing, and hiring processes, as well as allow MAA to better advocate for the museum profession as a whole.

Because some of the data is complex - segmented by type, location and size of museum -  we are still analyzing the results.    As information becomes available, we will share it with our colleagues through social media, including this webpage.
