The Museum Association of Arizona is offering both scholarships and stipends for MAA members to attend the 20204 Western Museums Association Annual Conference in Tucson, AZ, September 25-28, 2024.  

-  Five scholarships will be awarded that cover the cost of basic Conference registration ($395).  Fees for additional workshops and special events will be the responsibility of the scholarship recipients.

- Five $100 stipends will be awarded to assist with registration, housing and other expenses.

Individuals will be awarded either a registration scholarship or a stipend, but not both.

Scholarships are open to all Individual MAA members and staff and volunteers of all Institutional members.   Volunteers and staff of small museums are encouraged to apply.

Note: If you wish to join MAA, please do so before submitting your scholarship application.  You may join online here.

Awards will be based on both your financial need and why you want to attend the 2024 Western Museums Association Annual Meeting.   This can include such things as its value to you and your institution, how you will share what you have experienced with your colleagues (e.g., via social media or written summaries for publication) and/or specific sessions or activities that relate to your work. 

Applications for the scholarships and stipends are due July 15, 2024.
